Well I have been on vacation up in North Carolina so my daughter can be with her nana and figured I would take my inventory and my supplies thinking I would get alot done up here boy was I wrong! I know now you really need to be in your element to get anything creative done! Well I do at least!!

I will be home soon and hope to really get the ball rolling again and get Stamp-a-rue.com launched!

While I was up here tho I did manage to get this crocheted for my daughter!
She loves it and I think it will be great for a swim suit cover up!

Well I bought my own domain name Stamp-a-Rue.com and I should have inventory in it and it should be up and running by the end of the month….I have been very busy trying to work on not only my etsy shop but my new store as well…I have alot of plans for them both and I am very excited!
I am constantly thinking of how i can improve my stamps and how i can make my stamps easier to create. I do everything now myself I cut the wood with a miter box and a lil ole saw and then i sand them with a piece of sandpaper so tomorrow I am going to buy a palm sander…that should hopefully make my job a little easier!

Honey Vanilla Chamomile Tea Review

Since I have this insane hobby of tea drinking & collecting, I decided to write reviews on the new teas I try….New teas to me anyway!
I have a large basket on my kitchen counter full of teas…..I collect Teapots/ tea related things and I hope one day my kitchen to be a mix of Teapots and Asian inspired decor…should be easy…This hobby is supported by one of my favorite people Steve. Sometimes without his support and opinion I would be lost…yes even when it comes to tea!
On with the review!

Feeling my throat getting sore and just feeling sick in general I went to my tea basket and picked up a unopened box of Celestial Seasonings honey vanilla chamomile….I opened the box and mmmm the smell was divine and sweet….Brewed a cup and was pleasantly surprised…
I have never enjoyed any chamomile tea before but I adore this one.
The ingredients complimented each other…this tea includes orange peel which gives it that nice burst….
After I drank it my throat felt much better which is also a plus!
This tea will titillate your senses
So go pick it up at your local Grocer! =P

On a different tea note I saw a woman in the Chinese restaurant today swishing her tea…I got to thinking hmmm Why is she doing this?? I remember hearing about people swishing wine…but never tea…
So of course I googled it (I google just about everything) And I found out about the benefits of swishing green tea….aparently its beneficial even if you dont drink it..
hmmm interesting…

I got a new dog!! She is a 1 year old mini long haired wiennie doggie…My sister had her then got tired of her!! Can you believe some people can pay 400.00 for a dog with a wonderful personality then just “get tired of them”…I have only had her for a few days but im in LOVE!!!

I did a etsy-trade with a fellow shop owner www.hersheyismybaby.etsy.com
She makes the best dachsie keychains! I asked her for a custom so she saw my stamps and asked for a trade! I received today from her!

I sent her 3 stamps including this URL stamp! To help her promote her shop!

My name is Rue. I am a crafter and a mixed media artist…I recently discovered the world of hand carved stamps and opened my etsy shop.

I have decided that I am going to mix my personal crafting blog with my business also…..because well what i do is very personal to me…I believe if you love what you do then you have the best job in the world.
